Malaysia's health warnings policy will come into effect in January, 2009. Health warnings will be required to cover 40% of the front and 60% of the back of all cigarette packages, meaning 50% of the overall package space will be appropriated to health warnings. Six warnings will be rotated on cigarette packages.
