Panama implemented their current health warnings policy starting in 2008. Cigarette packages are required to have a health warning cover 50% of the front and back of the package. Overall, 50% of the package is appropriated to health warnings. 2 health warnings are rotated on cigarette packages.

As well, Panama requies tar, nicotine, and carbon monoxide numbers to appear on the side of packages.
